About Dunwood View

This stylish converted barn with original stonework and exposed beams sleeps up to eight guests and three canine companions. Entertain your guests in the games room, dine alfresco in the south-facing garden with countryside views or unwind in the large open-plan living space. While located in rural Staffordshire, you can spend your time away exploring the surrounding nature reserves, historical estates and the pottery city of Stoke-on-Trent. Enter the property into the airy kitchen/diner with tones of pink throughout and wooden accents in the furniture and beamed ceiling. To one side of the room is a chic dining table set beneath low-hanging contemporary lighting. Adjacent is a spacious, neutral-toned ‘U’-shaped fitted kitchen unit with sparkling grey countertops and a striking exposed brick feature wall. Continue into the tranquil lounge decorated in tones of grey and blue with two comfortable sofas in front of the TV. Pass the table football and climb the oak staircase to reach a family bathroom and four bedrooms – three en-suite super-king-size rooms and a twin. Outside is a private patio with furniture and a BBQ. You can also enjoy an additional converted barn which now serves as a games room. There is parking for four cars on a private driveway. During your stay in the hamlet of Dunwood, head to the neighbouring village of Denford (1.5 miles) to dine out at one of the cosy pubs and walk around Deep Hayes Country Park. Hit Rudyard Lake (2.5 miles) for an adventure on the water with kayaks or canoes. Head into the Peak District National Park (6 miles) for scenic walking trails and picnic spots. Just 11.5 miles away is the centre of Stoke-on-Trent where you can grab a drink at a trendy bar, visit the Potteries Museum and Art Gallery or treat yourself to some retail therapy.
