We spent 4days in this beautiful accommodation for my birthday, so peaceful and private. Enclosed Garden, so perfect for our dog to roam around freely, whilst we relaxed in the hot tub. Inside, it's as beautiful as photo's shown, log burner is wow! Prosecco and cupcakes on arrival, beautiful touch. The owner Rachael was very polite and welcoming on our arrival she showed us around the place and how things worked etc.. Rachael is a phone call away if needing anything. Whilst staying here, we explored the beautiful Peak District and found lovely woodland walks which our dog loved and definitely tired him out ha! It was perfect! Highly recommend staying here. We loved our stay at Saddlers. The property was spotlessly clean and the owner was there to welcome us and explain a few things about the property Wonderful enclosed garden for our little dog to. Its a beautiful place to stay and we would definitely return.
Rachael was very friendly and met us on arrival and departure. Nothing seemed too much bother and she was very helpful. Saddlers was exceptionaly warm and well appointed, we only used the log burner once, just for effect and to try it out. Hot tub was great and relaxing after a long day. Property is very central for visiting attractions and if needed Tesco Woosh service is fast and easy to use. Thankyou for the complimentary cupcakes and Prosecco.

I would highly recommend saddlers. If you are looking for a quiet getaway this is the perfect place. I stayed here with my two sisters and brotherinlaw for 6 nights. Rachael the owner was very hospitable and nothing was to much trouble. On arrival there was a bottle of prosecco in the fridge and a cake cloche of cupcakes, which was a lovely touch. Our only issue was the shower, which was temperamental temperature wise and we felt it could use a screen around it so the water was contained rather than having to squeegee the floor after use.
We couldnt have asked for for better hosts, greeted us, informed us of all essentials then left us alone, but if we needed them for anything we had a number to call.
Stayed for three nights with our dog. Saddlers is set in a peaceful rural location next to the owners house but private. There is a secure front garden so we could let our dog out or leave the door open without worrying about him escaping. The owner Rachel came to greet us on our arrival and was available if we had any issues. There was a welcome pack including some dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid and cloth. Saddlers has all the amenities you could need. The bed was very comfortable and there is a choice of pillows. There are smart TVs so you can stream your favourite shows and we had no issues with the WiFi. It was a very peaceful location and the directions to get there were easy to follow. There is a pub nearby and its not far to Stone which has shops, pubs restaurants and a canal.
We had such an amazing time at Saddlers! The house was beautiful, as was the hot tub! The owners Paul and Rachael made us feel very welcome. We will definitely back soon.

Family of 4 adults and a dog. The parents and Bonnie the collie loved the cottage, decorated with taste and amenities well thought through. Paul and Rachael are extremely friendly and very approachable if anything bothers you,just ask. Lovely walks and nice dog friendly pubs. The Oak house nearby is a must! Dogs allowed outside. Not far from the Peak District . Bonnie got to meet her first sheep, on the lead of course, and she behaved beautifully to our surprise! The young adults went to Water world, Alton towers, game grid in Stone and Ashbourne quadbiking...They had a fab time too. All of us appreciated the hot tub , which sold the cottage to us frankly. Superb temperature and different jets just wonderful, not in the sun after 4pm in July The nights are very quiet and cosy. We are very happy to recommend this lovely cottage and it was a pleasure to meet Paul ,Rachael and and gorgeous Ted

Was a lovely place to stay, perfect for a family, lovely enclosed space for the dog in a completely quiet secluded area. Would be perfect if you had nice outdoor seating as the place isnt that big inside and would be nice in the sunnier days to relax outdoors too just a suggestion to make it even better . Hosts were nice and friendly and the location is perfect to explore lots of different things in the area. We especially liked Cannock chase for Go Ape, downs bank for a walk and picnic, stone for a walk down the canal and pub lunch and further afield we visited Cheadle, Ashbourne and Alton.

This is a very nice property but is smaller than it appears in the pictures. Tbh, it appears that the owners have decided on 2 bedrooms when 1 would commonly be found in other cottages. It was ok with a wheelchair user but the lack of space did make it challenging around the bedroom and bathroom. The doors are not wider than normal. The property is right next to the owners house, which is fine , but for the daily interactions with the owners. They seemed to enjoy talking with renters! Probably a bit overzealous on check out as they turned up at 10.02 am to say goodbye!
A superb property, perfect proportions and privacy with special little touches. Location is just lovely with plenty to do in the local area. Stunning dog walks and dog friendly pubs in walking distance. Rachael and Paul excellent hosts and Ted is a beautiful friendly dog. Highly recommend, cant wait to go back.

Saddlers is situated in a lovely quiet location. The property is fabulous, very spacious, warm and has everything you need to make your stay memorable. Saddlers was a perfect weekend getaway for my partners birthday. The property is clean, well maintained and has all the amenities you need for a relaxing stay. The hot tub was a nice touch and a great way to unwind. Our host Rachael was very accommodating and helpful throughout our stay and recommended a number of great activities with the family locally like Trentham Gardens. The towns of Uttoxeter and Stone are only a short drive away for nice restaurants & bars. We would highly recommend Saddlers and would definitely stay again in future!

We have had a pleasent stay loved the view and being in the farm with that view we was lucky as the area felt like london not much to do apart from monkey forest we have enjoyed. On the discription of booking said fulford which is right but next to it said peak district derbyshire dales which wasnt we had to do 35 miles to get there it was more near to stokeontrent but the lodge i have nothing to say about it was verry clean hot tub was great everything we needed was there we have enjoyed each day there thankyou to owner rachel verry helpfull its a great lodge for those who want to have a peacefull time and dont go out much to visit tourist places for us if we dont count the area we have enjoyed the peacefull lodge and the beautifull farm will defo go back sometime just to rest and be away from lot of things thankyou again

We had a really enjoyable stay with our kids and dog. The property is very nicely finished and the owner Rachael was very helpful.
