Or explore the local area and beyond; the Staffordshire Way, a long distance walking route, runs through the village and there is a vast selection of walks for all abilities on the doorstep, plus there is an excellent golf course in Whiston. The Peak District National Park is easily accessed to the North; whist the Pottery towns of Stoke-on-Trent have a wide array of interesting museums to visit.
