About Fields Farm

Fields Farm is a grand five-bedroom country house just outside Cheadle in Staffordshire. This spectacular property sleeps 12 and has been renovated to an exceptional standard. The spacious layout includes three separate lounges - perfect for big groups who occasionally need their own space. You'll never hear "I'm bored" here.

Set in peaceful countryside with enclosed gardens, this place delivers proper rural relaxation without being miles from civilisation. The outdoor hot tub is big enough for your whole group - though things might get cosy if all 12 of you try to squeeze in at once! The massive kitchen with both AGA and conventional ovens means cooking for your crew is actually enjoyable rather than a logistical nightmare.

Accommodation is spread across three floors. Ground floor features a kitchen/diner, dining room, lounge with log burner, sitting room, snug, utility room and cloakroom. First floor has a family room (king + single) with private shower, super king bedroom, triple single room and bathroom. Second floor includes a lounge area, king bedroom, double bedroom and shower room.

Alton Towers is just 7.5 miles away (15 minute drive), perfect for thrill-seekers. History buffs can explore Sudbury Hall (18 miles, 30 minutes) or Chatsworth House (25 miles, 40 minutes). The Peak District National Park is right on your doorstep and Dovedale's stepping stones are just 12 miles away (25 minutes).

Generally really good. It could do with a maintenance once over small things like dishwasher front coming off, AGA much too hot Ive got one at home so know how to optimise their use, loo door on ground floor not locking, hot water being a bit unreliable. Lovely building & well planned accommodation. Hot tub great. Lovely gardens.

Excellent place to stay. The owners had thought of everything. Well equipped . Dining room table was set beautifully with napkins etc and looked so festive. Such a nice touch. Laundry baskets in all bedrooms and bathrooms so useful. A massive thank you to prefect hosts would definitely love to return.
Wonderful place, out in the countryside & lovely surroundings. Furnishings were beautiful & beds very comfy. An issue with 1 shower being too hot, which they offered to come & look at, but we had 2 more bathrooms to share so said leave it till we'd gone. Party of 7 ladies & we had a whale of a time, hot tub great & being under cover was a bonus checked every day. Fiona was brilliant, kept in touch with us & left a welcome tray of Milk, orange juice, prosecco, & a beautiful home made cake

Second time back at Fields Farm for our early Girly Christmas get together. The house was dressed up with Christmas decorations they were fabulous and the icing on the cake. The welcome pack of mulled wine homemade cake and orange juice was greatly received. The house was clean and well stocked with all the equipment needed . Already booked for next year, thank you to Fiona and Martyn for making our stay special.

Fields farm completely exceeded our expectations. I had seen on a review before I booked our family break birthday celebration, that the pictures as shown on the website do not do this property justice that is absolutely correct ! The property is even more beautiful very comfortable and great for families due to the space both inside and out. It is a fully equipped house and we felt 'at home' immediately. Contact with the owners was really easy too. When I needed to ask a couple of questions before and during our stay, they replied very quickly with the answer. Highly recommended.
We had a lovely girls weekend in the property. The autumn decorations were a lovely touch and the kitchen was well stocked. The space was perfect for getting together and we were just disappointed we weren't staying longer! The bedrooms were so comfortable and little extras like hot tub towels were well received.
We went for a short trip at this fabulous property, all of our young kids absolutely loved the place. It was very roomy, had all of the necessary amenities a really thoughtful touch by the owners. It was decorated beautifully we had a really wonderful time, the owners were extremely nice, they were always available, very polite and helpful. We will definitely be returning!

As previously Fiona went above and beyond to ensure we had the best stay at Fields Farm. Just an amazing property and outside areas. We were celebrating Christmas in May...yes a little crazy I know but Fiona helped make this possible and even Santa came to visit. Cant wait until next time!
Absolutely beautiful house and surroundings. Plenty of space for a group of 12. Ample crockery cutlery glasses etc. only one negative the lower garden furniture was very dirty so we had to clean a chair before we sat on it. But overall 1010 excellent place. Will definitely be returning

Stayed friday 29thfri 5th april 2024 ruby wedding celebrations We booked Fields farm because it would accommodate our large family, and was ideally located for the activities we had planned. On arrival we were delighted with the very thoughtful welcome pack, and the anniversary card left by the owners. The home made sponge was delicious and the grandkids loved the easter egg hunt which had been set up by the owners and the kids enjoyed the chocolate treats they received during the week. The house and the facilities exceeded our expectations and the family all enjoyed the hot tub. We found everything that was needed to make our stay enjoyable and we would certainly be recommending the property to our family and friends.
I have wrote in the visitors book. All good and will possibly book for next year...Great location.. clean..comfortable ..loved it. Highly recommend staying here..peaceful and quiet.

We've had an absolutely fantastic stay, the home is so beautiful, the pictures don't do it justice! And you're completely private, it was just absolutely gorgeous! Thank you so much for the generous basket at the start of our stay, with the added touch of a turkey tray knowing that we were planning a late Xmas dinner! It was so lovely!!

We found the property to be exceptional. The rooms were beautiful and spacious, the beds were comfy, the whole place was spotlessly clean. The kitchen was really well equipped for large groups and the stair gates, travel cot and highchair provided was a brilliant addition. Wed love to come back again and finally get to use the hot tub and explore the grounds a bit more. One tiny note I forgot to mention is we had a power cut in the high winds but we found the electric box and rebooted and it was all fine. It was only the lights in the kitchen and dining room that was affected and we fixed it within about ten mins so not a problem! The weather was really bad that night!

What a beautiful house. A lovely welcome gift of wine,milk,orangejuice,butter,bread and a lovely homemade cake. Plenty of room for our pre Christmas weekend. Each bedroom was large and beds were really comfy.We will certainly be back.
Brilliant place. With so much space. Great hot tub. The place is very spacious and we could.not have asked for more.
We had a wonderful stay here, the house was spacious enough for all 10 of us, of various ages, to be together comfortably, the two sitting rooms allowed us to either spend time together or apart. Lots of board games and also some outside games are supplied which the children loved. The bedrooms are all beautifully decorated with quality bedding. In the kitchen is an Aga which we all fell in love with after viewing it with some trepidation! The kitchen is well stocked with everything you could possibly want in the way of crockery, cutlery, glasses, ovenware and utensils. On arrival the owner provided a generous welcome pack which was very much appreciated after a long journey. This was one of the best holiday rental cottages we have ever stayed in.
Honestly couldnt fault our stay here, Fiona and her husband were so attentive, nothing was to much trouble for them and it was so nice that they came every morning to sort the hot tub. The little touches such as the cake, milk, bread and butter that was there ready for us when we arrived was such a nice surprise. They think of all the little things to help you have the most perfect stay and for a group of 12 girls it was perfect, hoping to make it an annual thing and we will deffo be returning.

A lovely property, ideal for bringing branches of the family together. Everything was clean and tidy. The garden and the hot tub meant we could happily potter around without going out everyday I think well be back!
We had a lovely stay at this property. When we arrived the house was clean and exactly as described. Fiona had left a welcome basket on the side which was a lovely addition, the cake was lovely! The hot tub was enjoyed by all. We had 10 adults and 3 children and still felt like we had plenty off space. The location is great, we would definitely recommend anyone to come and stay here! We met Fiona, Martin and Jacob one off their sons and they were all lovely and friendly.
Such a wonderful property! ! There were 11 adults & 2 little ones but the space great that we did not feel on top of one another there was everything that you could need & with Cheadle town a five minute drive it was no bother to get supplys in! We loved our week at Fields Farm! The beautiful setting was a joy to wake up to there was really no need to venture out if you didn't wish to the hot tub was an absolute winner especially on the one day we had rain! The plenty hot tub towels were well used! Our hosts Fiona & Martin were delightful truly lovely people a wonderful welcome pack which included homemade jam & a homebaked cake was so kind Little visits from Martin to take care of the hot tub were welcome & we had some lovely chats. The surrounding areas of North Staffs. are wonderful the Churnet Valley Steam Railway was a highlight!! We really did not want to leave & were sad to go home. Fields Farm couldn't have been better for a gathering of the clan for a wedding held nearby. The house was spacious, comfortable, impeccably clean and even with twelve of us staying it never felt overcrowded. There was plenty to do during the ensuing week, with games and hot tub provided, a barbecue we cooked in the rain and lovely gardens with beautiful views of Staffordshire. The owners were on hand to help with a couple of hot tub queries and responded really quickly. We highly recommend the farm house as ideal for a family gathering. It was wonderful to sit around the huge dining table for our evening meal so many happy family memories were made.

So pleased we booked Fields Farm. It is an amazing property, beautifully maintained and managed by Fiona our host. It had everything we needed. Every room is delightfully decorated and furnished for ultimate comfort and relaxation. The hot tub and surrounding area was spotlessly clean as were all the rooms. A nice touch were the towels exclusively for use around the hot tub in addition to towels for the bathroom. A generous welcome package was in the kitchen on arrival including a home made cake. There are three lounges and a large dining room giving plenty of space to spread out if required, The large well kept garden is lovely to wander around and there are also a couple of cosy seating areas to sit and take in the views across the fields..The hares on the lawn were a great attraction. Will certainly recommend it to everyone looking for a large holiday house with or without children.

We had an incredible weekend! The house is just perfect. Spacious, clean, a variety of areas to socialise including the huge garden! Fiona was so helpful on the run up to the booking and answers all my questions. We ran out of washing up liquid during the stay which was quickly resolved. Would definitely come back it was amazing.
From start to finish we had the BEST time here. 11 ladies celebrating a hen, a 30th, 50th and 60th. Loved the little welcome gifts, such a personal touch.. Spacious property beautifully furnished dressed. Tons of room for everything we had planned. Cooking on an AGA was a challenge I mastered and great fun! Well stocked kitchen with every pot pan and utensil you could possibly want. Bonus hot tub towels provided. Outside space fab and we were so lucky with the weather. This property is absolutely STUNNING. The views are incredible and its maintained to such a high standard. The owners were really helpful and went out of their way to help us, especially with looking for lost items left behind. I really could not fault Fields Farm at all and would recommend it to anyone.
