Absolutely lovely cottage, we have stayed before and was not disappointed, the only thing I would suggest is a new mattress for the double bedroom as this wasnt very comfortable and potentially the springs have got weaker. But it is a very minor snag that will make this place an absolute gem

We had a wonderful 3 night stay at Pipistrelle. The accommodation was perfect for 3 friends, 2 separate bedrooms and bathrooms, everything very clean, comfortable, sturdy and modern. A wonderful and well thought out Welcome Pack awaited us. The host was very friendly and the goats at the bottom of our garden area were great fun. They were led away somewhere else at night, so no noise nuisance overnight. The modern and clean outdoor hot tub was very much appreciated and used every evening. Personally I would have appreciated full width single beds rather than the narrow version, as this made it difficult to turn over in the night due to my bad back. We wouldn't hesitate to return to this facility another year.

The house was beautifully clean and we were warmly welcomed by the owners and the goats! We would happily recommend staying here. Only things missing were an iron & ironing board, vacuum cleaner or sweeping brush to help keep things tidy. Instructions on where to put rubbish and recycling.

We enjoyed our break very much, the farm had some interesting features, the goats were an entertainment and willing players if given their favorite ginger biscuits, and the duck pond with water lily's in bloom giving a peaceful atmosphere. The first thing we noticed it was quiet no traffic noise just bird song. the owners were very helpful and the accommodation first class. highly recommended.

Absolutely beautiful barn conversion. We were a family of 4 travelling with 2 older teenagers and there was plenty of space for us. The outside space and hot tub was brilliant even though the weather during the week we were there was not the greatest. Immaculately clean. The only very small negative was the directions to find the property were a bit vague and could do with the final left turn being more clearly identified. However this made no difference to the quality of the accommodation or the peace of our stay. Feeding the goats every morning was a highlight of our week!

What a lovely property. Well equipped, clean and beautifully decorated. The hot tub was amazing as was the provision of extra towels for the hot tub and a heated towel rail to dry them. An added extra was the goats over the fence and the biscuits provided to feed them also an amazing array of food and drink as a welcome gift. Even though we were on a working farm, this did not impact on our stay and we only saw the owners once before we left and didnt see the other guests at all.

Lovely holiday cottage that was spotlessly clean and beautifully maintained. An added 'extra' the delightful goats at the end of the garden! They were so cute and perfect if you have children! The place was very well equipped, though perhaps could have done with a few more instructions on things, i.e how to work the blind in the second bedroom which bin to use for the different types of rubbish etc. Then again, with the lovely, friendly owners right there, it was always easy to ask about such things! The accomodation is set in a very beautiful and serene area. The weather was wet most of the time that we were on our holiday so the comforts of this accommodation helped us keep warm and the facilities provided were everything we needed for a lovely holiday away from home. There were several family games left on the shelf to keep us busy in the evening too. The hot tub helped to warm up after a cold day outside. The welcome package provided by the owners was a huge bonus. How generous of the owners to go out of their way to provide numerous treats for both the grownups and the children in the family a big thank you to them for their very warm welcome. The goats in their paddock adjoining the backyard were a pleasant sight every morning the children loved interacting with them. We would definitely visit again.

Situated in the countryside but so near plenty of attractions. i.e. Biddulph gardens NT, Buxton and Peak District, Churnet valley railway, Denby Factory booked tour recommended As well as central Stoke with all its shops and potteries. The owners were nearby and very friendly and helpful if needed but didnt intrude. Two bedrooms each with en suite facilities made this a perfect stay for two couples. Highly recommended.

The rural location requires your own transportation to get groceriessupplies but short trips to Tesco are always a treat for Canadians!

This was a carefully and lovingly converted Barn. The owners have clearly understood the needs of guests by providing relevant quality fixtures and fittungs. The en suites were particularly well appointed, and underfloor heating throughout kept the cottage cosy. Nowadays, we never go anywhere without a hottub! Another bonus was that both rooms were doubles, so no need to toss for the twinbedded!!! The owners were lovely. Even with a full compliment of extended family of their own, they still invited us over for midnight fireworks at New Year.

A lovely cottage . Comfy and immaculately clean . We had everything that we needed . Situated in a peaceful location and we enjoyed relaxing there but also convenient for visiting local attractions . The owners were also very helpful .

Absolutely fantastic holiday let, everything felt brand new and very cosy. The hot tub was a big bonus out children loved it and was nice for us once they were ticked up in bed to relax and have a glass of champagne, generously given by the hosts along side a welcome pack which included an assortment of snacks and some eggs laid by there own chickens. The kids loved saying hello to the goats from the back garden every morning too. I recommend this to anyone, and we will definitely come back again.

Really enjoyed our stay at the cottage it was ideal for what we wanted. It was well presented and probably the cleanest accommodation we have ever stayed in! Very impressed overall and would highly recommend.

Our two week stay in Pipistrelle was fabulous! The cottage was spotlessly clean and had all the facilities that you could wish for. We have booked holidays with Sykes for many years and I can honestly say that this is the best property that we have ever stayed in. The owners are extremely helpful and nothing is too much bother. The welcome pack was a great surprise and the hot tub is just wonderful! There are lots of places to visit in the area too so no chance of being bored!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Pipistrelle. Everything we needed was included, lovely welcome pack on our arrival and exceptionally clean property. The hosts were very responsive and friendly. Couldnt have asked for more.
