Staying at Lady of the Lake was an absolute highlight of our trip! The location right on the water is unbeatable, and standout is the hot tubsoaking in the warm water while taking in panoramic, uninterrupted views of the lake was pure bliss. The property makes the absolute most of its unique position, offering total relaxation and breathtaking scenery from every angle. If you are looking for an extraordinary lakeside retreat, Lady of the Lake is impossible to beat.

It has not been possible to find any fault with this property. All you need to have a wonderful and thoroughly good time is here. The addition of the DVD player was a good idea, especially if you choose to stay in because of the weather as we did on our last visit. The jacuzzi was put to good use, especially after a long day spent exploring the splendid countryside. All in all a very comfortable accomodation, we all slept soundly.
We had a lovely relaxed mini break. The accommodation was very clean & well equipped, communication was excellent with the owner. The surroundings are peaceful & beautiful.

The property was exceptionally clean, wellmaintained, and situated in a stunning lakeside location. The facilities provided were excellent, with the kitchen being particularly well equipped, including a thoughtful selection of additional cooking utensils that made selfcatering easy and enjoyable. The welcome pack was a lovely bonus on our arrival. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the bedding was of a high quality, ensuring a restful night's sleep throughout our stay. One of the highlights was undoubtedly the hot tub, perfectly positioned to take advantage of the breathtaking views across the lake. It provided the ideal place to relax and unwind after a day of exploring the area. Overall, the entire experience exceeded our expectations. We loved every moment of our stay and would not hesitate to return in the future. Highly recommended.
Absolutely lovely property in an idyllic location. Clean, well appointed and within easy reach of amenities. 1010. Hope to return soon. Word of warning 10am checkout means 10am. The pool cleaner was there for 9.45 but called us in advance to check that was ok. Overall couldn't fault our stay

I can not accurately describe this property. And can not recommend it highly enough.This was the cleanest property I have ever rented. If you are looking for a five star property, look no further. Everything from the location to the tasteful and quality property made for a break that can only be described as perfect. We lay in bed in the master bedroom admiring the workmanship of the panelling. Not something I would expect to be doing on holiday but it is just so impressive

Lady of the Lake is a very special place and certainly one of Rudyard Lakes most historic properties, it has been refurbished very thoughtfully to a high standard. We spent a perfect 7 nights stay here and loved every minute, the far reaching lake views from every direction in the homely and spacious main living accommodation are to die for, the kitchen is small but perfectly designed with virtually your every need catered for. Both upper and lower shower rooms were spotless with high quality fittings throughout, the bed in the amazing wood panelled main bedroom we found to be super comfortable with lovely bedding and provided a great nights sleep every night. We are no strangers to Rudyard having holidayed at several other places over the years but this one is now right up there at the top of the list, can only give it a well deserved 5 stars!
Fabulous, unique property. Very comfortable beds and lovely garden. Hot tub was wonderful. We felt very looked after as all enquiries were dealt with very quickly as was the ordering of extra wood. Storage heater in the bedroom made it a bit too warm for us so we had to switch that off as not adjustable. We do like to cook while away and a 2 ring hob was a challenge.
We had a wonderful time staying here the property really is in a beautiful place many walks to enjoy we also enjoyed the cafe at the sail club which is a nice little walk from where you stay. We came here to celebrate my husbands 50th birthday I did message to ask if decorations could be arranged to be there when we arrived and it wasn't any trouble at all and it looked fantastic and I cant thank you enough for arranging that it was a real special touch. We was very sad to leave and will definitely be back
The most beautiful property in a peaceful and perfect setting. Immaculately presented with everything you could wish for, spotlessly clean, well equipped, comfortable and warm. We were lucky enough to stay there over Christmas, and the decorations were elegant and beautiful. It was a delight to open our eyes each morning to the beautiful lake and to total tranquillity. The king size bedroom and shower room are just off the hallway as you enter. The lounge, kitchen, double bedroom and 2nd shower room are on the next floor. Each room is tastefully decorated and the ambiance throughout is simply magical. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you need including cooker, microwave, double air fryer, dish washer, fridge and coffee machine. The fridge is on the small side with an ice box, but there is a second fridge in the utility room incase you need more space. The gardens are a delight on different levels, with a large hot tub, BBQ and a patio seating area. The Lady of the Lake is one truly classy lady and we can't wait to return.

Absolutely fabulous house on a beautiful location
Wow! What a fabulous and unique property. The location on the lake is absolutely stunning, and the boat house had been very stylishly renovated including a bedroom that you feel like youre sleeping on a galleon. Very well equipped , we wanted for nothing. The hot tub situated in the beautifully landscaped gardens is the cherry on the cake. Lots to do in the area , we will definitely be coming back, thank you .
We had a wonderful stay in this idyllic location. The house was perfect clean, comfortable and wellequipped. There were lots of great walks from the door and we had a good trip up to the amazing Lud's Church. We enjoyed the hot tub and had BBQs in the lovely wooded garden each evening. After all the dry weather the lake level was so low we could walk round the house, which was a surprise at first but meant the kids and dog could muck around on the 'beach' and the wildlife was even closerherons fishing right under the balcony. Only improvement would be easier access to the shore. Highly recommended.

An amazing property very unique. We had the most relaxing week everything we hoped it would be and more we will definitely be coming back With family next time.the gardens hot tub and bbq area are fantastic places to chill out especially with extra utilities area to get changed and store drinks saves the walk back to the lady. My only criticism and its the only one is the ice box in the fridge is not big enough maybe a table top freezer in utility especially if its more than two of you.but thats just nit picking we had a fantastic week
I booked this for my parents and on arrival had a phone call to say it was perfect. A beautiful property with stunning views and total peace. They loved being able to see out from the hot tub and my dad said there were little birds that would sit on the balcony ledge with them for breakfast most mornings and they loved this too. They didnt have a bad word to say about anything. They liked being able to visit the town and would love to come and stay again. Thank you, it was just what they needed!

I have to say, first and foremost, this is a fabulous place to stay. Fantastic views in all directions and excellent amenities available such as the hot tub, pizza oven and outside eating area. The beds were a little too soft for our backs, but it is impossible to cater for all tastes. Two sliding doors were not working properly upon arrival but did not bother us in any way. It was very impressive to see both being fixed on our day of departure. Your maintenance team are very friendly and professional, especially Paul. Very pleased to learn you may have plans to improve access to the shoreline. I throughly enjoyed my stay at The Lady of the Lake and would love to return one day. Many thanks indeed for a marvelous holiday home.

Absolutely magical place, we stayed for our anniversary weekend, and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Definitely has the wow factor. The downstairs bedroom is huge with a massive comfy bed, it overlooks the part of a boathouse that the boat would be stored in and as such is very close to the water so irs almost like sleeping on a boat, if you don't like the sound of water bring earplugs as it can get quite noisy when there's a wind but it's also very therapeutic. The upstairs lounge has amazing views from three sides and you can just sit and stare for hours. The walk around the lake, if done briskly, takes just over two hours and is a nice picturesque walk. There us a cafe just a five minute walk away at the sailing club, if you can drag yourself away from the balcony where we sat watching boats sail past for hours. Would we stay again? YES, in a heartbeat. It's the nicest and most relaxing place we have stayed.

A unique property, comfortable and well presented. Wonderful views of the lake from every window. We had a very relaxing stay. Hot tub and gardens a real bonus. Good dog walks around the lake. A fridge in the outside utility room would be useful when dining outside. A truly wonderful experience.

Thank you for a wonderful stay! The property was decorated beautifully for Christmas and all the extra touches such as the prosecco and milk, were lovely thank you! The location is excellent for exploring the surrounding area and an enjoyable walk around the lake. Beautiful surroundings and very peaceful... we would definitely return!

A beautiful and unique property in a wonderful location. Cottage is comfy and warm. The open fire is an added treat. Views are wonderful and the country walks are accessible and interesting. If you are a nature enthusiast, a photographer or love fishing sailing this place is for you. A very relaxing place.
This is a lovely property, well maintained and exactly as described. Gret nights sleeps thanks to high quality bedding and comfortable beds. If I were to change anything that would be down to my own quirky personality as everything that we needed was supplied! The hot tub was spot on and added to the pleasure of the stay. Very highly recommended and we would happily return.

Wow! What an amazing and unique property. Its so peaceful and tranquil fantastic place to relax and enjoy the environment. The communication with the host was great and all needs where cater for they even provide charcoal for the bbq. Would highly recommend this property. We would love to return to this property but fear that it will become fully booked quickly as its so good.
