Stoney Cliffe Farm Reviews

We had a lovely week here. The cottage is really well equipped with everything you need. We had plenty of room for our 3 children and they loved playing in the garden and on the grounds. The view from the hot tub is a real treat, especially as it was lambing season so we got to watch the baby lambs running around. The location is great for visiting various places and going on walks and plenty of pubs to eat out locally. The welcome pack was appreciated too. Would happily stay here again.

Stoney Cliffe Farm is an amazing base from which to explore the Peak District, and an incredible place to stay. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay, and the view from the hot tub is unbeatable! For the owner the only thing we missed was a colander in the kitchen! Thank you for a wonderful break. We absolutely loved the farmhouse!
We really enjoyed our stay at Stoneycliffe farm. The farmhouse is a beautiful home, very luxurious and spotlessly clean. The hot tub was amazing, breathtaking views. The house and hot tub were completely private and the area was very peaceful. I would highly recommend and hope to visit again!
We had a lovely weekend at Stoney Cliffe cottage. The location is amazing with stunning views. The cottage is cosy and homely, we didnt want to leave. The facilities are amazing with a cosy lounge with log burner, spacious bedrooms with comfy beds and a farmhouse style kitchen which is well equipped and comfortable for family meals, games round the farmhouse table all in a lovely relaxed atmosphere. There is lots of lovely walks and eateries nearby, a weekend just wasnt long enough we will be back
The owners have put heart and soul into this farmhouse and it shows superb! Well designed layout with high quality fittings throughout. Spotlessly clean. No pets, hot tub, location and great value drew us to this property over others. Thank you!! Kindly offered for us to stay a while to allow snowy weather to settle and roads to clear. We wish the Belfield family continued success.

One of the best farmhouses weve stayed at. Well equipped and furnished to a high standard and a lovely welcome basket on arrival. The hosts were most helpful and even towed our cars up the drive when our cars couldnt make it in the snow. They were also available to answer any questions we had. Our family have had a wonderful long weekend break here, thank you!
Property was immaculate and exactly as described the kitchen was equipped with anything and everything you might need. I cannot fault the property or our stay, it was perfect.
This cosy property was just what we 2 adults and 4 children needed for a few nights away and some days out in the open air. The cottage was very clean, cosy and well equipped. We made good use of the wood burning stove plenty of logs were provided and hot tub. The owner was very responsive and helpful when we needed to contact him. It was well positioned and we visited the Roaches, Luds Church and Tittesworth Reservoir during our stay and it was great to relax in the hot tub after some long walks. We had lunch at Ye Olde Rock Inn and a brunch at the Lazy Trout the day we left. The rest of the time we cooked and ate in the cosy kitchen and then settled in front of the fire. We will be back!
Beautiful cosy property. Private surroundings. Easy access to leek and Alton towers. Had the loveliest weekend and cant wait to return.

Great cottage with amazing views of the Roaches. On a working farm so track to property is quite rough and you get the farm smells now and again. Comfortable furnishings and pretty much everything you need for your stay. Thanks for a great visit.
Nichola
Very high quality property, I've been to quite a few lodges and this one is fantastic. The people in the area were really friendly and there are a lot of places to visit which are all really close. Really well kitted out place, not one complaint. All in all we had a fantastic experience!
