The Old Rectory in Leek Reviews

Fantastic accommodation and garden. Our annual family gathering (11 of us plus two dogs) couldn’t have been in better surroundings. Some might find the traffic noise and church bells somewhat off-putting but they didn’t impact too much on our 3-night stay.Whilst the lack of on-site parking was a negative theoretically, in practice the adjacent market square free parking proved okay, even on the busy Saturday. We found plenty to do during our short stay….rock climbing and rugged walks in the Peak District…. and our Saturday night meal at the nearby DuckGoose bistro was first class in quality and service. Some good coffee and breakfast units too in the Leek town centre.A really superb location for our annual get-together.

We enjoyed a fabulous weekend at the Rectory to celebrate my 60 th birthday. Our entire family (16 ) were treated to the most comfortable bedrooms, with Super King or King sized beds and most en-suites with baths ! The house is perfectly situated to explore the town of Leek, being just a stones throw from the centre. All amenities were present to accommodate us, plenty of crockery, cutlery and towels. The owner also supplied beach towels for the hot tub! A most superb house, beautifully renovated by Wayne and Kevin. Thank you so much for sharing the house with us all.
